Generated transcript text is returned to the macOS app for insertion. Server logs and analytics must not include transcript content, clipboard content or focused-field text.
VoiceBass stores the account identity, email, plan, entitlement, credit state and active device records needed to run the service.
Stripe processes payment methods, invoices and subscriptions. VoiceBass stores Stripe identifiers and billing status needed for entitlement checks.
The service stores device name, app version, build, OS version, active status and last-seen timestamps so users can manage their Macs.
Authentication is handled through Cognito, billing through Stripe and cloud transcription through the VoiceBass backend provider integration. Provider secrets stay server-side.
VoiceBass records privacy-safe product funnel events such as pricing views, login starts, checkout starts, download views and support opens. Analytics payloads exclude audio, transcripts, clipboard text, raw email, access tokens, card data and payment method data.
Support requests should include account context only when needed. Users can request account or device data deletion by contacting support.
