Terms of Service

These terms cover the VoiceBass account, billing, download and cloud transcription service.

Service

VoiceBass provides macOS dictation software, account services, billing, credits, device management and cloud transcription access under plan limits.

Accounts

Users are responsible for keeping account access secure and for ensuring only their own Macs are connected to their account.

Plans and credits

Credits reset each billing period. MVP1 does not include rollover, top-up credits or overage billing.

Billing and cancellation

Paid subscriptions are managed through Stripe. Users can cancel through the billing portal, and cancellation stops renewal at the end of the current billing period.

Acceptable use

Users must not abuse transcription, billing, device registration, authentication, rate limits, support systems or provider infrastructure.

Software distribution

The macOS app is distributed directly as a signed and notarized download. Users should install only official VoiceBass releases.

Service changes

Plan limits, provider availability, pricing and product features may change as the service evolves.

Provider dependency

Cloud transcription depends on network access and provider availability. VoiceBass may temporarily limit or pause service to protect reliability, security or billing integrity.
